Ingredients :
- Coriander leaves – 1 cup
- Coconut gratings – 3 tbsps
- Green chillies – 3 no’s
- Ginger – 1 teaspoon, cut into pieces
- Garlic – 1 teaspoon, cut into pieces, optional
- Small Onion – 6 no’s, optional
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
For Tadka/Popu/Talimpu :
- Mustard Seeds – ½ teaspoon
- Oil – 1 teaspoon
Preparation Method :
- Clean and wash the coriander leaves, green chillies and chop it.
- Grind all the ingredients in a mixer by adding little water.
- Heat oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds, once it stops spluttering pour it over the chutney.
- Serve with Idly/Dosa/Rice.
Variations :
- Big onions can be used if small onions are not available.
- Use tamarind for tanginess instead of lemon juice.
