Tomato Prawns Curry (Tomato Pachhiroyyala Koora)


Ingredients :
  • Prawns – 500gms, medium size
  • Tomatoes – 4, large size, diced
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
  • Whole Green chillies – 5
  • Coriander powder – 3 tsps
  • Garam masala – 1tsp
  • Pepper powder – 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves – 2 sprigs
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste
Preparation Method :
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the garam masala and curry leaves for a minute.
  2. Now add the coriander powder, green chillies, salt, pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste. Fry for about 30 seconds.
  3. Then add tomatoes and half cup of water.
  4. When the tomatoes soften, Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the prawns and cook on simmer for another 3 minutes.
  6. Serve with rice or roti.
